What should my child wear?
Comfortable swimwear with long hair pulled back and out of their eyes. If your child is not potty trained or sometimes has accidents, please put on a swim diaper.
Can I stay and watch my child's lesson?
While we allow observing lessons, we ask that you do so from a distance. Kids tend to do better when parents are out of sight and they can focus solely on the teacher.
Is it normal for my child to cry during lessons?
Crying is normal at the beginning of lessons for younger swimmers. It may be best to observe the class from a point out of sight. It may be difficult at first, but they will soon adjust once your child gets more comfortable in the water and with their instructor.
How do I pay for lessons?
Payments are due at the end of each week of lessons. They can be made via Zelle or Square.
Can my child have a meal before lessons?
To avoid an upset stomach, have your child eat their last meal 90 minutes before lessons.
How old does my child have to be to take lessons?
6 months
How many lessons should I sign my child up for?
Kids at different ages learn at different paces. Use this as a guide to figure out what works for your child. 1 year old or younger: 20+ lessons. 2 years old: 15 lessons. 3 and 4 years old: 10 lessons. 5+ years old: 5 lessons. Maintenance lessons available after completion of intensive program to set stronger foundation and refine skills learned.
